                                    How To Join

It’s easy to join. Simply come by the office and talk with our account representative. You will need to bring your driver’s license and a credit card for ID. If you do not have a credit card you can bring your social security card. All you do is sign a membership card and either deposit $25 or sign up for payroll deduction to have the money deposited into your account.

If you wish to open a checking account you would need to sign another card and deposit $50 into the checking account.

Remember, immediate family members of BISD employees or Brazosport College employees are eligible to join. If you work part time for the school district or the college you are also eligible to join. So come by the office and join the Brazosport Teachers Federal Credit Union.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
